A very independent person, a year and a half ago, needs your help. I am Philip. I was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in June 2024. I am progressing rapidly. I lost my ability to speak in October 2024. Requirements: • Help is needed with bathing, dressing, getting in/out of bed, and going to bathroom. • Feed me. I have a feeding tube. All my nutrition, medication, supplements, and liquid intake go through the feeding tube. I have it all documented. • Personal care: combing hair, brushing teeth, cutting nails, etc. • Heavy lifting: unable to get up by myself. • Patience: mobility and typing are extremely slow. • Able to read, write, and speak in English. Puts You Ahead of Others: • Experience with PT and OT: I need to stretch. • Experience with ALS. • A great sense of humor. An equal opportunity employer.
