I am looking for a long term, reliable, compassionate, TALKATIVE person with a lot of patience to care for a senior with late stage dementia The time is 1O:30-2:30 or 11:00-3:00 on Wednesdays, Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays. Duties include administering medication, getting her clothes changed if wet, making a salad, cutting up fruit for snacks, light housework to make sure kitchen, dining area and bathroom are swept and clean and some laundry. . Prompting her to wash her hands, brush her teeth and most importantly keep her company by TALKING with her about your day or what is happening on the tv. She likes watching news on MSNBC or watch old movies. She has dementia so every other day she is either friendly or grumpy. So, lots of patience and persistence Please apply even if you can only do 2-3 days a week.
