I am looking for a long term, reliable, compassionate TALKATIVE person to care for a senior with dementia Wed. Saturday and Sunday evenings The time is flexible, 4:-7 or 4:30-7:30 or 5:00-7:30. If you can only do 2 of 3 nights still apply. Duties include making her a salad, cutting up fruit for snacks, light housework like cleaning kitchen, sweeping the floors, bathroom and most importantly keep her company by TALKING with her about your day or what is happening on the tv even if she is laying in bed. She likes watching MSNBC to keep up with what is happening in the world or Elvis Presley. She has good days and bad days. You will have to be firm, but caring about making her get out of bed. You will have to change her wet clothes which she can become combative, but usually it is over in 5 minutes and make sure she eats her salad..
