Help needed for my father in his late 70s - seeking part-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Some light tidying up is involved. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Experience with changing and emptying catheter bags is another requirement. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. We are currently looking for someone 4 hours per day at least 3 days per week but this could increase over time as his condition progresses. He had a major stroke, is unable to communicate verbally, is unstable on his feet and is on a foley catheter. My mother is his current live in caregiver 24/7 but is looking for help.
