About who needs care: My parents are relocating from an assisted living in California to an assisted living in Vancouver Washington. The new facility has to do an assessment before they can go into their new apartment. It will probably be 2 to 4 days before they can move in so I am looking for care for those days. My dad takes care of himself, but my mother is in a wheelchair. She needs help with toileting dressing and transferring two and from her wheelchair. About the care needs: My mother does not have dementia so she can follow instructions. I am their daughter, and I feel more comfortable having a caretaker assist me with her needs for those days leading up to them moving into assisted Living. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
