About. My mom was always a strong woman. She has a college education & served in the Army. She ret as an analyst w Cal State Dept of Rehab. She & my dad were married 60 years. About the care needs: Mom has always been a people person & likes to talk. As her disease has progressed she has problems finding her her words. Plus her hearing is bad. Shd now repeats herself a great deal. She can use the restroom but needs a bit of probing & help with showers to assure she doesnt miss anything. Make sure she puts on clean clothes. Pick up her room, make bed. Stand by with ambulation. Services needed include: meal preparation, encourage eating. light housekeeping, companionship, and bathing / dressing, make her bed. And general picking up. 2 Dogs in home will in time steal your heart.
