About who needs care: Has dementia and age related arthritis. Walks with a walker. Is able to feed, and dress herself, shower, use toilet herself. Needs meals prepared and cleaned up, light housekeeping, laundry. Needs blinds and curtains opened in the morning and lights on during the day. 2 prescription medications and some vitamins laid out with meal. Motivate to do PT exercises, use nebulizer and change clothes/pajamas. About the care needs: She is hard of hearing, and prefers to be alone. A perfect fit would be someone who can read her moods, give her space, and be able to bargain, cajole, convince her to do things she would rather not do, like use nebulizer, do PT. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
