About who needs care: Living with husband in adult care community with strict security standards. Short term memory loss but likes to walk (w/o cane etc) in nearby park. Would like help/companionship for roughly 2hrs for 2 days wk. - schedule very flexible. Help is maintaining weekly schedule, some laundry and organizing apt. which she feels is cluttered (not). About the care needs: Conservative female over 35, Catholic is a plus but not required. Primary ability is to listen and perhaps share memories. Short term memory loss restricts her desire to participate in facility functions alone. Someone who is relaxed and Not prone to giving orders. Companionship for roughly 4 hours week with minor household help. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
