About who needs care: Stoke patient on hospice little mobility. Not able to speak full sentences. Diabetic. Interests is in watching basketball Household has cats. Patients spouse works on site typically from 4-8:30 p.m. and patients son works evenings. About the care needs: The patient is quiet and has difficulty forming full sentences, requiring an energetic and engaging caregiver who can initiate conversation and provide lively companionship. The patient has a catheter that may require occasional attention. They experience difficulty swallowing and do not wear dentures. Assistance is needed with feeding, changing, and general daily care (diaper change, sponge bath). The patient is quite weak and requires substantial support for movement and repositioning. Providing a change of scenery is encouraged for example, taking the patient for a walk in a wheelchair or helping them sit upright. The patient enjoys watching or discussing sports. Please note that the patients spouse has several cats in the home. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
