About who needs care: My father has the start of dementia. However, he is still independent. He ladies the grocery shopping and other small errands, but we are beginning to worry about him driving and going about on his own. He also likes to play games, watch sports, and be around family. About the care needs: My father is a very patient and easy going person. He likes to be in the company of others, but he is not always very talkative. He likes to fix and repair things, and he tries to keep up with paperwork on his computer. However, he is having more difficulty doing both of these tasks. Perhaps the caregiver can have some computer skills, some handyman skills, and a friendly outgoing personality. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
