About who needs care: I have a type of muscular dystrophy called FacioScapuloHumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD). I walk with a walker in the house and use a wheelchair outside the house. I no longer drive. I live with my wife and daughter. Our son is a senior in college. We have two small dogs. Our nanny/helper lives upstairs. She will be getting married in a few years. We want someone who is flexible in terms of possibly living upstairs at some point. I am a psychologist and work from home. I need help partially dressing, with my shoes, going to occasional appointments, bringing me lunch and snacks. We would like someone open to light cleaning, cooking sometimes, comfortable with animals as well. About the care needs: Someone soft spoken, sensitive, caring, intuitive, self motivated, communicative, open minded and open hearted. We are a very loving and caring family.
