Seeking companion care for my mom in her 80's. Assist with meals, dressing, hydrating, eating watermelon and fruit, wheelchair transport to meals, advocating for assistance from her residences, etc. Mom is a lovely person with a delightful personality. She has advancing Alzheimers and is not self advocating for pain, eating, or socialization. She can toilet herself, but it fragile with spinal fractures and double breaks in her right arm. We have care givers to do the regular work, but she often needs to be gently cajoled into agreeing to take a shower and or getting to meals or activities. She loves crafts and interesting conversations. The ideal care giver would have experience in dementia, and have a gentle, confident demeanor.
