About who needs care: bed bound from car accident 12 years ago. can sit up in bed and can get into a wheelchair, can bathe himself while sitting down. NO dimentia or related problems. smart as a whip.. diabetic. come in between noon and 1 p.m. and go home 4 to 5 hours later. can do personal hygiene care, clean room, launder bed linens (no ironing), make simple snacks and sandwiches, and prepare 1 small meal for dinner each day. About the care needs: someone who is self motivated and can work independently. Services needed include: personal care, daily meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, very limited laundry (no ironing) encourage physical therapy, and provide some mobility assistance getting into a wheel chair. Fluency in English is a must.
