Hands-on Care Needed For My Father

About the job

I'm looking for hands-on care for my father, who is in his 90s. He is very sharp, so someone who is able to have intelligent conversations with him is a must. Please be willing to do light housekeeping, and some help may be needed with showering. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Hours are flexible, some evenings are possible as well. Approximately 15 hours per week. References are a must.
