About who needs care: A little more information about my Aunt Deanna needs; She requires assistance with toileting and uses a bedside commode, which she is able to access by taking a few steps. Occasionally, she has difficulty standing. To assist with this, a lap belt is available to help her transition to a standing position with the aid of a walker. Her body mechanics aren't the best so She does require assistance with ADLs which she can help do. She is very sweet soft spoken and timid when standing/walking because she has fallen in the past. Meals are prepared and delivered by family members. They will just need to be heated and served. Or if theres frozen dinners just microwave and serve. She is alert and oriented, though her mobility is limited and she may require physical assistance. There is equipment like a sit lift or hoyer but hasnt been needed to be used for a long time. Light housekeeping may be done when she does not require direct care. She is able to clearly communicate her needs. About the care needs: Positive reinforcement when moving. She is religious and will watch mass on Sundays. She is looking for someone who is confident in caring for her, someone who is kind and respectful. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
