About who needs care: I am getting bunion surgery and I need a confident and experienced person to take me to my surgical appointment near Union Square, take me home after my surgery and stay with me to make sure that all is well and make sure that I take medication in a timely manner. I will need help with ice packs throughout the day and to bring me water and meals. I have surgery on Dec. 19th and another check up on Dec. 23rd so will need someone for 5 days total (Dec. 19th - 23rd). About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would be professional, not an over-talker, someone who is confident and comfortable in their role. Someone friendly and self-sufficient, mindful, and committed to their work. They should be physically fit to assist me in going to and fro the bathroom although I will also have crutches to assist myself. Services needed include: transportation.
