About who needs care: Beginning stages of dementia (no memory loss yet), self sufficient for dressing and normal daily activity. Just need to have someone sit with her in the house as well as give her a shower once a week. Shower has a shower chair given to her from PT. Doors inside have inside locks to prevent wandering. She is pleasant and talkative, does talk in a low tone. Likes to knit, scary movies, and mystery/thriller books. We have two dogs, very loving dogs and would just need to be let out in the backyard and let back in periodically throughout the day. I work in NYC one day a week and in Port Chester the other two days a week. About the care needs: Someone who is pleasant, patient, punctual and likes dogs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship and showering.
