You will enhance the lives of 3 young men with high-functioning autism by empowering them to reach their full potential. All of the residents have part-time jobs and participate in community activities. Looking for someone who is: outgoing, has a "camp counselor" spirit, conscientious and detail oriented. You should have the ability to multi task, be compassionate and patient, and it is a plus if you have experience working with individuals who have special needs. Highlighted Responsibilities: Provide transportation, help with meal planning, shopping, and preparation, facilitate social activities, supervise maintenance of the house/resident chores, and companionship. Hours are flexible from Sunday evening- Friday afternoon depending on candidate availability and preference. For example, overnight sleep hours, 9am-5pm, 5pm-10 p.m.
