I'm looking for hands-on care for myself. I'm in my 50s and I have Parkinson's Disease. Important - medical/nursing experience with managing/flushing ports and catheters, and administering medication is required. Assistance with bathing/showering/daily hygiene routines will be required. Taking care of laundrry and light tidying up in my beautiful home overlooking Penobscot Bay is involved. We're looking for someone to provide companionship to a well educated recent retiree. This is not a dementia situation. And my hearing is great. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. We ask that you have reliable transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. MON morning, TUE and THURS 6am-10 p.m.
