About who needs care: Has hearing problems and sometimes memory problems. Recovering from breaking fingers and hand surgery. She likes to be busy, so simple activities that would require 1 hand for a while. She has a cat that's shy. My sister stays with her most of the time, but she needs breaks. About the care needs: Personality, someone who would treat her like an adult. Someone who's gently coaxing rather than bossy. She's recovering from hand surgery, but is already out of the cast in a splint for a few more weeks. She's in physical therapy for her hand. Mainly, someone to help out with light chores, cooking, and to keep an eye on her as she is considered a fall risk right now. We would not expect any personal caregiving Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
