About whom needs care: My mom is 86 and is currently in Hospice Care for Cancer in her abdomen. She sees 2-3 hospice folks (nurse, social worker, equipment suppliers) early each week. I've noticed by the end of the week she's depressed, low energy, and "spins-up" things to worry about. She does not suffer from dementia. And I believe she would benefit from a regular visitor in her home. Additionally, it would be helpful for a companion to accompany her on short errands (market, meal out,) around town.
