The DSP role is to assist a highly functional, 22-year-old female living with a diagnosis of Down syndrome. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, reliable, and energetic individual who can support her in her goals of independence and community engagement. The role focuses on helping her develop a wide range of life skills while honoring her strengths, which include being a certified Zumba instructor. Light tidying up is involved, help preparing meals. Handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Responsible for transportation. Preferences for a DSP who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
