Caregiver needed for 48-year-old vibrant female ALS patient. She has lost 90% of the use of her limbs but is able to communicate using a Tobii Dynavox communication device. Patient has a trache & a peg tube. As her husband, I was able to grasp the concept of how to care for both of those in about 30 minutes. Patient needs daily assistance with feeding, toileting, brushing teeth, suctioning, repositioning & administering medication through peg tube. Must be dependable, patient & quick to respond to patient's needs.
