About who needs care: This is really for both parents. Father-in-law has cancer and mother-in-law has alzheimers. He needs help to organize medicine, make a meal or two and check up on them to ensure they are eating and he is not in too much pain. This is temporary until approximately Jan. 10th until we can move them to Michigan where family is. About the care needs: Someone who is familiar with alzheimers and sweet and understanding. One that will do what is best for them and not what the alzheimers patient may think is ok. They will need to be able to sort prescription medication and put them in their pill boxes and verify that they are taking them. Both parents like to play cards. Services needed include: transportation.
