About who needs care: Requires walker, stage 4 kidney failure, oxygen treatment as needed, HEALTHY meal prep, take her out for errands shopping etc About the care needs: This individual has asked me to move to Ft Myers so she will feel safe. She's legally blind also so I understand why her kids suggested she go to assisted living facility. Ive worked for agencys in the past but this is an independent situation, I need a blue print of how to negotiate terms bc it seems as if she feels that room & board will be the "trade off" and I do not feel comfortable bc it limits my ability to attend LPN program, I already forsee that I will only have the freedom of working a "part time" job at best. Also I can share this info with her so she understands there are other options Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
