About who needs care: Historically, I have had caregivers come at 10 or 11 oclock, I am a paraplegic and have a T 12 incomplete for the last two years eight months. I have been focusing on walking again. My caregiving includes getting me ready to go to physical therapy and or any place else. Which involves wiping down my feet, my legs, my back and then applying lotion to my legs and feet along with toe nail care. applying a polish to improve toenail appearance. I currently used a pure wick system to urinate. I try to be as self-sufficient as I can. I currently have a senior level CNA coming to see me twice a week. I would ask that you come one day and shadow her to learn about everything needed to take care of me. And I require assistance transferring from my bed into my wheelchair. My husband is here to oversee an aid in the process as well. I would not say I am an extremely difficult client. We could even have some laughs throughout the process. Duties to also include cleaning of my room and doing laundry. Ideally, it would be great if I could find some money that lives in the shores, in Edgewater. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
