About who needs care: My mom (Cher) has had many surgeries/procedures over the years while heavily relying on pain medications/opioids with a not so healthy schedule. Her energy, strength and appetite have significantly dropped over the past few months making it hard for her to get up by herself. Before she got to this point she loved to garden and do her diamond art! She still loves her tv shows though! Her hope is to have a caregiver help her out with exercises, medications, and just getting out of bed. About the care needs: My mom is very kind but can be super stubborn! Looking for someone who will be able to say no to certain situations while still being warm and gentle. Some skills needed may be strength and a good ear to talk to :) She hasn't had a lot of social interactions in the past year so being a friendly face is one of the main goals! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
