About who needs care: Mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and she is in mild-moderate stage. She has memory loss, confusion, and needs assistance with some daily tasks, such as managing accounts, keeping track of scheduling and activities. She still drives and spends most of her day outside the home. Looking for accountable companionship to support her. Want to start to introduce assistance for her so she can naturally move into increased support as her condition progresses. About the care needs: Experience with Alzheimer's. Warm, caring, youthful and energetic personality would be a good fit. Interests in arts, culture, being outdoors, going on walks, would be good. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
