I am looking for a long term, reliable, compassionate, TALKATIVE person with a lot of patience to care for a senior with late stage dementia The time is 1O:30-3:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Duties include administering medication, getting her clothes changed or underwear when wet, she becomes very stressed about having her clothes removed. Then making a salad, cutting up fruit for snacks, light housework to make sure kitchen and bathroom are cleaned and swept and some laundry. . Prompting her to wash her hands, brush her teeth and most importantly keep her company by TALKING with her about your day or what is happening on the tv. She likes watching news on MSNBC or watching Elvis. She has dementia so every other day she is either friendly or grumpy. So, lots of patience and persistence.
