About who needs care: My grandma speaks spanish, understands some english. She needs some help taking her meds & giving her an insulin shot. She has high blood pressure & diabetes. She likes to just sit on her chair & knit while watching tv. Occasionally will garden in the day. She needs help cooking her meals (she doesnt eat a lot), she has osteoporosis so its hard for her to hold onto things & stand too long. Some help doing her bed & tidying a bit would be very much appreciated! She wishes she had the strength to clean- she was a great cleaner in her younger years! She is very chatty & kind About the care needs: Bilingual- if not its ok she will still try to communicate with the english she knows. Someone who enjoys to chat as much as her. If they can give her a painless insulin shot, she doesnt like it but will not complain- just please be gentle so its easy for her. Someone patient to help her with laundry, she loves to wash but its hard for her to moved laundry & stuff around, she isnt very strong. Can cook simple little meals for her diabetes & high BP, she doesnt eat a lot. & to gently remind her to drink water! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
