Seeking companion care for my adult son in his 30s with Autism. Our son is fun loving, enjoys video games, listening to music, going to coffee, volunteering in the community; loves to help. Thrives on scheduled routines and keeping things the same. He needs someone who is flexible, patient and kind. We provide training in understanding his needs and how to work with him. We will need to start slowly as you both become acquainted. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. You'll be responsible for thinking of fun things to do and taking him out on agreed ventures, hanging out at home, going for walks, out to coffee, etc. Preferences are that the candidate has some experience working with an autistic adult one to one, be reliable, consistent, and has a reliable car.
