About who needs care: My mother has ALS and has little use of her arms and trouble walking. Our only bathroom is upstairs so she will need assistance going up and down the stairs. She will also need assistance with cooking/cleaning and eating. My mother does not require too much-just basic needs and someone to watch and help her while my husband and I are at work. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who has experience with terminal diseases and who is kind and compassionate with individuals who can get frustrated. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
