Companion Care Needed For My Father In San Jose

About the job

About who needs care: He has recently fallen a lot culminating in a subdural hematoma for which he had emergency surgery this week. He is resistant to having help. He lives with his wife who is also not in great shape. He loves to play backgammon. They listen to Persian music a lot. About the care needs: An extremely patient person would be great, but not a pushover. I don't think they need specialized skills at the moment, just someone to remind my dad to use his walker, take a few meds, make sure he doesn't fall, or if he does we need someone to call 911. His wife is not capable to do these things. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
