About who needs care: My son, Jake, is a young adult with a spinal cord injury who needs a reliable, skilled caregiver to assist with daily care. Responsibilities include bowel program support, showering and hygiene, intermittent and condom catheter care, dressing, transfers as needed, and light meal setup. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with SCI-related routines, dependable, patient, and strong. If you have experience with quadriplegic care or nursing, we would love to talk with you. Jake is making progress everyday, and we're looking for someone motivating and willing to help:) It would mostly be weekends, but also be able to fill in during the week. Thank you. About the care needs: A good sense of humor, and loves dogs. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
