We have a 5. 5-year-old boy whom we are seeking summer care for. He is very silly, good-natured and curious, and loves building, playing in sandpits in our yard or at the park, going on treasure hunts, and doing science experiments. He is on an IEP and has some slight developmental delays academically - we are hoping for someone who could do some fun reinforcement of counting and recognizing letters with him to help him prepare for kindergarten. Both of his parents work from home, and we imagine care for him would be a mix of playing at our house/in the backyard as well as trips to local parks, the zoo, etc. A typical summer day might look like breakfast and building with toys inside, playing in the backyard or the park, lunch and some quiet time watching a show, then more activities until 4 p.m.
