Flexible Babysitter/nanny

We have two young children to care for ages 3 and 4. They love to play outside, dance/listen to music and have snacks! They are sister and brother and do a great job of keeping each other company, of course when they're not fighting over the same toy! If this feels like a good fit for you, reach out! Our interests and values include a conservative home, spending as much time outside as possible and doing our best to eat healthy meals together. Our children also attend a short Montessori school in the mornings for socializing and playing with others, and technology is intentionally not present. I like to make sure they feel involved in what I'm doing and have them help, whether that's with cleaning, cooking, putting away dishes or whatever. Our children like to feel involved! Our kids love video more than anything but we really try to limit that. If we can keep them active and busy they don't even think about it! We also still love for them to take a short nap in the middle of the day, but not very long or bedtime is impossible. They love coloring, painting, playing with bubbles, soccer balls, and the water table! They need help with listening, doing things on their own like putting their shoes and clothes on, etc. They can do all of these things, but we are working on consistency. They also have a hard time trying new foods but we let them try anything I make for the rest of the family for dinner We hope our caregiver has patience and love for kids. If this is a job for just money, you may not be the right fit. We think of our caregivers as a part of our family and people we trust. If you call off a lot due to personal travel or illness, that is very difficult with our work schedules. My husband and I both work with appointments throughout the day and it's extremely difficult to reschedule them with short notice. You can park in our driveway. Public transport is not very close. We expect you to have a working vehicle and comfortable driving with children to go to the park or get a treat to eat. We do not have any pets.
