We are seeking a part-time nanny to care for our infant in our home in NE Portland/Montavilla area. Looking for care on Monday and Tuesday, maybe 8-4 or 9-5. Some flexibility on start/end times. Enthusiastically open to nanny share if the right opportunity presents itself! About us: We are BIPOC and both have social work backgrounds. Mom works from home with the exception of a meeting or two during the week. Dad works 10 hr shifts outside of the home. We have two dogs and two cats. We value curiosity, exploration, and redirection rather than negative reinforcement. We are equity minded and community oriented. We aim to create/maintain an environment that isn't beholden to gender roles and prioritizes consent. Looking for: Comfortable around dogs and cats, Reliability, good communication, Vaccinated with infant experience.
