We are looking for a nanny to spend 2-4 afternoons with our son after school each week. He is in first grade and enjoys reading stories, drawing pictures, and playing with dinosaurs. He is also on the autism spectrum, and, while he can sometimes struggle with being flexible about plans and transitions and cooperating with requests from grown-ups, he is more often fun, funny, and affectionate. Our ideal arrangement would be to have you pick our son up from school at 2:25 p.m. and then spend the afternoon with him playing and learning at our home, in a park, at the library, etc. If things go well for the rest of the school year, we will likely have additional opportunities for childcare help in the summer. We'll also likely be interested in occasional weekend babysitting for our son together with his 5-year-old brother.
