Throughout the work day the teacher is responsible for the care, kindness, warmth and focused attention on the students. For many of the students you will be their first Teacher. Some may be learning English at the Center. Teachers are responsible for encouraging movement, healthy habits and kindness for all students. Additional responsibilities will depend on experience or certifications. Teachers must be punctual and reliable. The parents depend on you so they can go to work. Help shape the life of a young child and be a part of the east end infrastructure. The Southampton Day Care Center is a small nonprofit organization. Paid time off, paid holidays and paid training for advancement. Pay is 17-20 per hour based on experience and certifications.
