Our daughter is a beautiful, smiley 9-year-old that is non-verbal and unable to sit or walk without support. Our family is looking for a caregiver (PCA) to work 20-30 hrs a week. Tasks will include, helping with daily cares (feeding, diapers, etc.), basic therapy activities, and playing. Most importantly we want a caregiver that will have fun with our daughter and help her participate in her family of 6. No experience with cares and therapies necessary; we will train, and a parent is almost always available to assist (we work from home). We live on a hobby farm 5 minutes from downtown Stillwater. There is no public transportation. We hire through a PCA company that does background checks and payroll. Tentative schedule will be 8 to noon M-F, 8-4 every other Saturday.
