Both boys enjoy arts and crafts, board games, video games (although we try to limit that), and playing at the park around the pond or the creek. The oldest loves science and nature and enjoys science projects. We're looking for someone who has experience dealing with emotional kids. (8) is super smart, but can sometimes be very emotional so patience is necessary. He can be redirected and calmed down by letting him read or T work on something by himself (build a craft, legos, etc). K (6) is more carefree. He does always want someone to play with him so if his brother isn't, he will want you to play something. We have two dogs. A yorkie and an English shepherd. The kids like playing with them. The yorkie is territorial, but warms up quickly especially if you play with him. The English shepherd is a rescue who doesn't have a mean bone in her body.
