I have professionally been caring for children in my home for 25 years. I am currently licensed with the state of Maryland. Over the years, I've been a Licensed Family Child Care Provider (FCC) for the military along with being state licensed. I hold many hours of certifications and CEU training for child care. My home is clean, smoke-free, and pet-free. I have a home filled with age appropriate toys and learning tools to stimulate and encourage creative play. I keep my daycare ratios low so I can provide each child with one on one time. My home's philosophy is based on the belief that each child should have a place they can come to each day that provides a warm, loving, at home environment. Every child that comes to my home gets individualized time and care, with an environment structured around each child's individualized needs for growth and development. I follow a daily schedule that includes: ** Preschool curriculum -Mother Goose Time, a nationally recognized preschool program. ** Free play, **Arts and crafts, ** Dramatic play, **ABC's, **Games, ** Indoor/outdoor play, ** Manipulative play and numerous other activities, **I provide USDA meals and snacks daily to each child. I also have many certified training. I stay up to date on required CEUs. ** I am CPR and First Aid certified. ** I have early child development CEUs focusing on child growth, development and proper child guidance. **SIDS prevention for infants and Shaken baby syndrome prevention. **Those with health issues, I am trained to administer rescue medications. **Trained in child abuse identification, reporting and prevention. **Numerous other Certification available to view upon interviewing in my home.

(**Openings for infant up End of June 2013**)I am a licensed in-home child care provider. I love caring for children of all ages and find a passion in making children comfortable in a home-away-from home environment. I also have a preschool program that we work with on a daily basis with a craft project every week. I have been licensed now for 10, going on 11 years, but I also grew up in a child care home where my mom did day care and she still does. I am very reliable. I don't take many days off and when I do, I have a reliable back up who normally can help out. I look forward to hearing from you so you can join our days full of fun! I have many references if wanted. I am not going to post them on here because of the information not being mine; but if you contact me and are interested, I will gladly give you as many as you would like. Being licensed, I am CPR/First Aid trained and up to date. I have taken the qualified classes for the year and am subject to unannounced inspection periodically from the state licensing department. I do have a criminal background check on file with the Maryland Child Care Department. I meet all the credentials that are required to have and keep my license.

I currently take care of a 5 month old little girl, as well as my own 11 month old son. I am looking to take on 1 more child, preferably a year or younger. I have been watching children my whole life, off and on, starting from the age of 14 when I worked in a family owned day care center. I love kids and they seem to take right to me. I am currently a stay at home mom, and it's the best job I've ever had. Something about watching babies grow, teaching them and watching them learn, reading to them...it just warms my heart. I do cloth diaper both babies, so I am open to using either disposable or cloth diapering. I have no problem doing laundry if clothes get soiled during the day. I live on a dead end, with a huge yard. We recently gated in our front porch, so I like to take the kids outside during the day to get fresh air if it isn't too hot. We do have cats (who are very sweet and friendly), but no dogs. We are a non-smoking home, with central air. I have swings, and jumpers and a plethora of toys that cover a wide range of ages.
