5 years ago at 41, I was diagnosed with the rare condition of Spinal Cerebellar Ataxia. The condition affects motor skills like speech, writing, & walking. Now I live in a 4 bedroom with 3 of my kids. I rely a lot on a walker but can still do all my personal care like bathing, restroom breaks, dressing. What I can't do is clean house, do laundry, run errands, drive to appointments, get medicines, make calls, cook anything but Casseroles. My kids all go to School during the day and so They will only be peripheral through their housekeeping /laundry. I do a lot of online shopping to cut down on errands, I use click & pull, and I try to leave shopping til Friday. If I need Rx I'll text before 11. If I need a quick item I use dollar general. 2 cats. 1 temporary dog and my 24-year-old. Most days 3 but sometimes my appointments run til 4.
