Part Time
Hello, I'm looking for occasional childcare for my 7-year-old 2nd grader and my 11-year-old 6th grader beginning October 11th. I'm a professional musician and I play with several different groups in the area and I also teach at FGCU. I know my schedule well in advance, but it isn't exactly the same every week, and we are mainly looking for coverage for when my husband and I both have to be at work at the same time and for occasional date nights. After months of not working much due to Covid, things are beginning to pick back up for me and we are looking to establish relationships with a couple of regular sitters. Responsibilities will include picking my 7-year-old up from the bus stop in our neighborhood and staying with her until one of us gets home, occasionally bringing her to after school activities, and preparing simple dinners for both kids. My 11-year-old walks or bikes to and from school and is largely self sufficient, but he does still need help with meals and cleaning up. Both kids are generally compliant and friendly. I will need someone 1-3 times a week for about 3-4 hours at a time through April/May. We are located in Autumn Woods. If you are interested in meeting us, I would love to talk to you.
Both of our kids play the violin. My daughter is involved in theater and she plays soccer. My son enjoys visual art and building things. In general, we are a very crafty family.
