Visit our website at www. rightathome. net/monterey The successful candidate should have experience as a caregiver, ability to communicate in English, ability to problem-solve, and some organizational skills. Responsibilities may include, personal care (e. g., bathing, dressing, and grooming), companion care, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, errands, and light housework. Right at Home caregivers primarily work in the client's home. Reliable transportation is a big plus. Menu planning including shopping for groceries. -Some light housecleaning Qualifications -The Right attitude and patience to work with elderly and disabled adults. -High school graduate or G. E. D certificate preferred. -Completion of a written Competency Evaluation (at time of interview) -Clear LiveScan background check (at time of conditional hire) -Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job. -Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations. -Valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
