Summer Sign-on Bonus September 1st, 2021 - October 31st, 2021 $1500 Sign-on Bonus for all Full Time and Part-Time Positions. Payroll taxes and withholdings apply. Paid in two equal installments with the paychecks following 90 and 180 days of employment. JOB BRIEF: The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care, nursing assistance, and other assigned tasks to the residents of the Eskaton Village Carmichael Skilled Nursing Facility. The Certified Nursing Assistant duties also include but are not limited to direct resident care, assisting with daily living activities, and providing resident documentation. Responsibilities and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the Supervising Nurse or the Director of Nursing based on the evaluation of the resident's needs. SOME DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Takes resident's vital signs, documents them appropriately, and recognizes abnormalities and reports to charge nurse. Makes rounds to ensure resident's safety and comfort every two hours or more frequently as required by the patient. Provides safe resident transfers involving bed, wheelchairs, chair, or shower chair. Obtains assistance as needed to ensure resident safety. Demonstrates knowledge of standard precautions and proper use of gloves, gowns, masks, eye protection, and linen handling. Provides or assists in bathing or showering for thorough cleanliness and hygiene of residents. This is not a complete list-one will be made available at the time of interview. Knowledge and Abilities: Possesses knowledge in performing personal care services in a skilled nursing community and can meet new or stressful situations with the appropriate responses, to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, and to share information freely. Can use and seek supervision and consultation verbally and in writing. Can follow both verbal and written instructions. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school graduation or GED preferred. Possession of a valid California Certified Nurse Assistant certification.
