Seeking care for my father in his 60s. Services needed: companionship, bathing / dressing, meal preparation, help staying physically active, mobility assistance, transportation, light housekeeping. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my father: he can be lethargic, grouchy, independent. He has a form of Parkinson's called Progressive Supra nuclear Palsy, is diabetic, and prone to falls. His poor memory and critical thinking skills due to the PSP May lead to him making decisions that put him in danger. He is used to being independent and is adamant he can and will do whatever he wants. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, firm, fond of pets. A caregiver will need to be patient and kind, but firm with him. Someone who will help with and encourage simple physical and occupational therapies so he may maintain his abilities as long as possible. He sometimes has a vulgar sense of humor which is another lovely gift of his diagnosis. He means no harm, just likes to flirt inappropriately.
