I bought a pawn shop bass and showed up at Nick's door with no prior experience, desperate to figure out how to play. Nick is an incredible teacher! He was so patient with me, and explained everything clearly and efficiently, even taking time out of his week to allow for extra lessons given our time crunch. With his guidance, I not only learned the basics of bass guitar, but also learned and memorized the ten songs necessary to play the show with my friend's band - ten days after coming to Nick!!
