Antelope Canyon is possibly the most-photographed of Northern Arizona’s sandstone slot canyons. The glowing orange and purple colors of the wind and water carved, narrow fissures in Antelope Canyon feature in many beautiful images. Lunch is included in the tour. Some hiking is required on uneven and unpaved terrain. Also includes a trip to Horseshoe bend and Glen Canyon dam. This is not just a tour of Grand Canyon...this is a life-changing experience centered around reconnecting with the great outdoors. Join me in witnessing the natural world in a way that you have never experienced before. Our time together will be spent on the South Rim of Grand Canyon, hiking the beautiful Kaibab Trail to Cedar Ridge for lunch. We will cover about 5 miles in total, 3 of which will be on the Kaibab Trail after a 1-mile warmup walk to the trailhead. This is an amazing, family-friendly way to be introduced to Grand Canyon in a safe and controlled manner. We will take our time getting out of the Canyon and take as many breaks as needed (or wanted)...this is not an endurance event and in the summer we are regularly faced with 100F+ temps. We will be making several stops along the way, including "Ooh-Ahh Point" for a snack and photo break.

Enjoy your gorgeous ride up to the Grand Canyon in a comfortable touring van. You will have no more than 7 guests total on your hiking excursion. Experience the immensity of the Grand Canyon during a day hike tour from Sedona or Flagstaff. Many people observe the Grand Canyon only from above, standing on the rim for a few photo ops, but this tour allows you to discover the deeper nooks and crannies of the 1.2-million acre UNESCO World Heritage site and US national park. With an experienced guide, you'll take a 3- to 5-mile (5- to 8-km) hike into the canyon to admire its incredible landscape from many perspectives. Hike is limited to seven participants.
