He continued playing during his secondary education and then went on to earn his Bachelors of Music Education degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. During his performing career, Cliff has had the pleasure of being a part of the Lake Charles Symphony, Baytown Symphony, and the Gulf Coast Sound Drum and Bugle Corps. He has had the pleasure of playing alongside the Marcus Roberts Trio, Boston Brass, and many other prestigious groups. After graduating Cliff went on to teach for Anahuac ISD for years, and just completed his 8th year in Goose Creek CISD. Throughout his career he has been a part of award-winning ensembles through the UIL Honor Band, ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series or leading students as the advance through the All Region process.
